Coming soon

I'm launching with Spanda and Ākāśa first so I can test them properly. Shunya is next.. have a look around, it's all real, it just isn't out yet.

Shunya · transparent reverb

Clear space, no grain added.

Ākāśa's quiet sibling. Shunya adds no saturation, drive or converter grain of its own.. just the space. Six units fitted to my analysis of classic reverbs, three slots you can chain, wet EQ, presets and A/B.

What's in here

Six spaces, one clean path.

Mandapa

The modern, natural one. Dense, smooth, and it stays out of the way, so it's what I reach for on acoustic music, orchestral stuff, or a mix bus send where you want depth you don't really hear. True stereo, with Motion for the tail.

Vistara

The big studio hall from the mid 80s that ended up on half the records you know. Wide, glossy and tall. Vocals and snare love it. Hall, Random Hall, Plate, Ambience, Rich Plate and Concert Hall, with size, pre-delay and diffusion.

Taranga

The tidy, polite sound of a 90s sound module. Short rooms and plates that glue a busy arrangement together without washing it out, plus a tube and.. yep, a cellar. 11 reverbs and 8 choruses.

11 reverbs · 8 choruses

Dhvani

From a 90s synth's effects section: clean, airy and a bit glassy. Perfect for pads, keys and electric pianos, especially with the chorus feeding the reverb. Eight types, with delay feedback and three chorus types.

Chorus → reverb

Kosha

That early-90s sound module effect block. Simple, friendly rooms and halls that sound like the games and MIDI tracks a lot of us grew up on. Great for that nostalgic, slightly boxy space. Chorus can feed the reverb.

Chorus → reverb

Chatur

From a 90s studio multi-effects rack. Solid rooms and plates for drums and vocals, plus Backward Swell and Gate Burst for that gated 80s drum thing and reverse swells into a chorus. 10 programs.

Three slots

Early, Mid and Late each hold any unit and feed the next, so you can chain a room into a hall.. which I do constantly. After them: a four-band wet EQ, presets and A/B.

FIT: Classic or Analyzed

Same nerd switch as Ākāśa. I refitted the late reverb against my analysis with gradient descent, and the FIT switch in the lotus panel flips between Classic and Analyzed with a crossfade. Mandapa also got new edge depths and a refit of its top-end damping.

Auto Gain

On by default, so the output sits at the input's loudness.

Listen

Ok, have a listen.

Hit play and flip between Dry and Shunya. I matched the loudness on both, so you're hearing what it actually does.. not just "louder sounds better".

Walkthrough Draft

Watch the walkthrough.

Every page, how the three slots stack into one space, and a vocal hall in two minutes.

Analysis

I'd rather show you than tell you.

I ran every one of these offline through the plugin itself at 48 kHz. The settings I used are under each plot, so you can check my work.

Skins

Pick a finish.

These are straight from the plugin, no mockups. Click around.. I spent way too long on some of these.
